Gobble, gobble, HOORF

Harvest day began on a sour note.
I've had enough!
Kitty was angry with me.
Kitty's angry
But, I had some mail!
Mush closet
I discovered another Mush Closet.
Remodeling
Tom Nook really was closed today. Tomorrow, I shall see a new store.~
Po po
Nana is excited for the feast, po po.
Nice stuff
The tables are set.
HOORF!
Heh heh heh HOORF!
Harvest Festival
The real fun didn’t start until after 3:00PM, but I was a little late.
Today we feast
Tortimer is ready to eat.
What do you think you're doing?
Franklin was invited as the guest of honor, but he has a hunch that his place at the table is actually a place on the table!
No way
He asked me to pilfer all the knives and forks at the table.
Hand it over
He doesn’t want to get hurt.
Goodies
All kinds of Harvest furniture was offered in exchange for the cutlery.
Yaaaaaah!
Franklin is easily frightened.
Not the best hiding place
He doesn’t seem to be that great at hiding.
NO! DON'T!
Yaaaaaah!
Chillax, mister turkey-man!
Harvest harvest
Harvest harvest
My Harvest Day harvest. I’m not interested in keeping these, so I’d be more than happy to sell these to you for 2500 each or trade for Mush furniture. Just shoot me a comment, or meet up with me in the #cityfolk channel on irc.dynastynet.net.
Gift from Nana to Opal
It seemed like everyone was giving gifts to each other. None were addressed to me, though.
Stego Tail
Ammonite
Stego Tail and Ammonite were today’s fossil finds.
No main dish
At 9:00 PM the festivities were over. Before the hour struck, I ventured to the city and got a new do to match my outfit. Can you guess who I’m trying to be?
Harvest Festival every day
Pudge wants Harvest Day to be every day.
Cuddle Party?
It’s not what it looks like…I swear!
Chasin' a grrl
I invited a few friends over, sold and traded some of my Harvest goods, and now I have a complete Mush set! Tomorrow is a new day and I’m wondering how much that basement is gonna cost me. With Tom Nook being open later, I’m hoping to amass a greater amount of money by fishing more at night. I will completely pay off this house by the month’s end~

Moving to The Moon

November 19th, 2008 by KingDarian | No Comments | Filed in Animal Crossing

I started my journey to The Moon by transferring over my character from Wild World. After a little bus ride, we arrived at our destination. Rover suggested I head on over to the Town Hall, so that was my first stop.
Town Hall, my first destination
Pelly gets me going
Inside, Pelly helped get me on the right track by directing my attention to the four vacant houses in The Moon. I get my pick of any one I want.
Signs are taking over
While looking at houses I couldn’t help but notice the abundance of signs posted all over the town. Some of them have helpful advice, but it does seem a little much.
Nice to meet you, too, Gladys
The first villager I met was Gladys. She’s a friendly ostrich who lives in the northern part of town. There was a house available next to hers, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. Instead I headed toward the southern reaches of The Moon.
Beautiful beachfront property
It's a bit on the small side
I'll take it!
I found a perfect little cottage in an exclusive secluded section of the town that was right along the beach! It was a little smaller than what I was hoping to find, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to live in a home in such a great location. I agreed to purchase the property and took out a loan from local businessman, er businessraccoon, Tom Nook. He seems like a reasonable fellow. After talking about how much this was going to cost me, he suggested I meet the citizens of The Moon and then head on over to his shop to earn some wages.
Kitty is a refined feline
Next door to me was a refined feline named Kitty. She’s a rather fussy creatures, but what kind of people would you expect to live in such an exclusive part of The Moon?
Collecting seashells
Along the way to the next house I picked up some seashells. These will give me some much needed pocket change later on.
Curly feels beefy
Curly was the next guy I met. He’s a bit of a pig. He thinks his name sounds beefy, but I find more on the porky side.
Grizzly make me feel welcome
Next up was Grizzly. He’s a macho bear who lives in that pink-painted cottage to the left. He’s pretty friendly.
Pudge is a friendly bear
Grizzly isn’t the only bear in The Moon. Pudge lives just a short walk away. He seems pretty cool.
Pippy is an energetic bunny
Along The Moon’s crystal-clear stream lives a cute little bunny named Pippy. She’s full of energy, but seems a little flaky.
Meeting the mayor of The Moon
The last person to meet was Tortimer, The Moon’s mayor. He’s kind of old, but still a cool fellow. He told me to come see him on Holidays to get free stuff.
Nook's Cranny
After the introductions I headed on over to Nook’s Cranny to start working.
A beautiful new garden for Tom Nook
Planting saplings near Nook's Cranny
After changing into a work uniform I was tasked with planting flowers and tree saplings around Nook’s store. The foliage really livened up the place.
My birthday falls on November 7th
A letter to Gladys
Kitty is having her floor recarpeted
Gladys was expecting that Watering Can
Tom Nook wants me to write an ad
Next up was a series of deliveries. Grizzly asked me for my birthday after delivering some furniture. Then I wrote a letter for Gladys to thank her for shopping at Nook’s Cranny. Kitty let me have her Citrus Rug after delivering a new carpet. Gladys was very grateful to get the Watering Can she ordered. And finally, Tom Nook asked me to advertise his store on the town’s bulletin board near the Town Hall. What a load of work. I finished it all and then Tom Nook was kind enough to take 1400 Bell from my loan repayment.
Wahoo! My part time work is done.
I rejoiced! I was finally able to start living my new live in The Moon!~ I wonder what fine adventures await me.
