Fishing Tourney
It’s always nice when there’s something going on in the town. Today was one of those exceptional days. The fishing tourney was on.
Snowman chair
Yesterday’s snowman sent over a snowman chair.
Pachy skull
Peking Man
Pachysaur
Fossils
The pachysaur is complete todays, and the individual fossils are almost all there.
Smooth coffee
Brewster’s coffee is as good as ever.
Tiny snowman
After a few days, snowmen tend to shrink.
Sable's stories
Sable told me a story about her parents, which I saw in a photograph. Sable had to raise Mable practically on her own after her mother passed away.
Fishing Tourney rules
The fishing tourney lasts until six. Time to get out there and fish.
Snowman
Another perfect snowman.
Seabass - 41.2 inch
My first entry is a 41.2 inch seabass. It held the temporary record for a bit.
Snowman Dresser
The thankful snowman I helped create sent me a Snowman dresser.
Seabass Record
Seabass record
Stringfish - 51.7 inch
Fishing Tourney over
Winner
I submitted a few more record breaking fish and won some minor prizes. The final fish I submitted, a 51.7″ Stringfish, took first prize. My big prize should be arriving in the mail soon.
Surveillance Center
Resetti
Resetti’s surveillance center was open yet again. I’m sure under that thick, angry exterior is a wonderful candy center.
KK Slider
K.K. Slider performed in The Roost again, tonight.
Forest Life
He left me with a copy of Forest Life.
OBJECTION!
OBJECTION!
Triforce auction
I popped into the city once more and dropped off an item at the auction house, one of the many Triforces I purchased last week.

A gift from a mole

December 3rd, 2008 by KingDarian | No Comments | Filed in Animal Crossing

Fish selling
That fishy smell in my basement was too much for me, so I got rid of the lot. This batch alone went for 75,000! The total from last night’s escapade came to roughly 100,000 Bells.
PM Turnip prices
Turnip prices are still okay.
Iguanadon skull
Iguanadon skull is today’s addition.
Coffee
I joined Nana for a cup of coffee at The Roost. Brewster makes a mean cup of coffee.
Average fortune
Katrina’s fortune for the week was average. I have nothing to fear, but nothing to look forward to.
Strange painting
Widescreen TV
Redd’s new wares were just what I was looking for. I picked up a Strange Painting and a widescreen TV.
Strange donation
For the third week in a row, I found an authentic painting.
A gift from the heavens
Another fine gift from the heavens above. ? Block #2.
Stringfish
These guys are just BEGGING to be caught.
We left the lights on for you
Why…what have we here?
Entering the lair
The entrance to the lair of…surveillance.
The chairs
Lockers
So, Resetti’s got legs! This place sure is messy. It could use some tidying up. That pizza doesn’t smell too fresh. I wonder why there are two chairs here, marked 1 and 2. And that TV…who is he watching. Hey…that kind of looks…like…my house…!

O_O

Photobucket
He handed me a silver shovel to keep me quiet. I think it’ll work.
There's nothing here
No touching
Get outta here
He then proceeded to yell at me, telling me to get out.
The sweet escape
So I took off, cold and alone in the big city…
…with a SILVER SHOVEL! :D

Now museum, now you don’t

November 19th, 2008 by KingDarian | No Comments | Filed in Animal Crossing

There’s so much to do, but it looks like most of my first day was spent collecting items for the town’s museum.
Resetti
Before heading off, Mr. Resetti popped up and warned me to save properly. He also thanked me for purchasing Wild World.
Friends
I then added all of the Friend Codes I knew to my list. I’m hoping to make much more use of this later on.
Cherries
Cherries are The Moon’s native fruit. I picked up a few to snack on.
Dug up a fossil
Parasaur torso
Fossil gallery
Stego Skull
Icthyo torso
I purchased some tools from Nook’s Cranny and made good use of them. My first dig yielded an ancient fossil. I later found two more to add to my collection. A trip to the museum led me to discover what kind of fossils they were. I found a Parasaur torso, a Stego Skull, and an Icthyo Torso.
Mantis
Migratory Locust
Monarch Butterfly
Insect habitat
Long Locust
Long Locust
Curly loves bugs
A stick...that walks?
I’m surprised at how many insects there are roaming around this village. Everywhere I turn, there are locusts, butterflies, and sometimes even mantises and walking sticks. I caught as many as I could and donated them to the museum. The insect exhibit should provide an adequate environment for all the bugs to live together. But the museum isn’t the only place to drop off the bugs you an collect. I found that Curly is quite fond of bugs, and he offered me a nice sum of Bells for a Migratory Locust I had caught. What a deal!
Can't
Cherry Salmon!
Fishtanks
Popeyed Goldfish!
Pale Chub!
Rainbow trout!
I then tried my hand at fishing. While it didn’t come off of a great start, I began to catch a wide variety of fish eventually. The museum is even equipped with some monstrous fish tanks capable of holding all kinds of underwater creatures.
Special delivery
Kitty's reward
Kitty had a package that she wanted delivered to Pudge. I offered my services and brought it to him post haste. This cat must be loaded! She gave me over 500 Bells for my troubles.
Front of Slot Bros.
Back of Slot Bros.
I ended my tour of the town with a visit to the Able Sister’s Tailor shop. I designed a stunning outfit to wear. They were so overtaken with its grandeur that they just had to sell it in their shop. If you visit my town sometime, you can pick one up for yourself!

Next, I think I’ll see what the big city has to offer.
