Pippy has left The Moon. Our times together will be cherished, but she is moving on to bigger and better things, now.

This new upgrade sure is grand! It has two stories and plenty more stuff to buy than ever before.

The new year has filled my mailbox with New Year wishes and a few gifts.







Not bad for half a percent interest.


Tom Nook must really want to drum up some business. Two ads in one day is a new record.

To help ring in the new year, Tortimer handed me a New Year’s shirt for 2009! It has a funky little ox on it.


Another wonderful treasure floated into town. Inside was a cannon, the second-to-last piece I need to complete the Mario Theme.


Grizzly fills the new year with warm wishes…and strange dances.


CRAP! That’s gonna put a hole in the wall!

I found Kapp’n at The Roost, sipping on some coffee, so I joined him.



I can feel it…I think.

I figure it’s time to start throwing some money toward the town fund.

Katrina’s charm for January hinted at a reward of “ancient treasure” and told me that visitors would have to plant three trees to make it happen.

I decided to get my shoes shined, but I never expected results like these. Blegh.

The snowman’s final gift is a Snowman model.


ElfKitty also sent a gift out, a clothesline.

Apparently Tortimer paid for that sign out with his own money.

Another frosty friend is satisfied with my work.

I didn’t have any new fossils, but I’d be back later after venturing into the city.

So I was off.

Redd had an offer too good to be true! I snagged the Moving Painting he had for sale.

Katrina’s fortune was much better this week.

Redd’s offer was too good to be true. His painting was a forgery.

I’ve raised quite a lovely sum of bells for one month of work. I could have had more, had I played the Turnip Market more aggressively, but I’m taking my time. I’m in no rush to buy everything.

Later that evening the real fun began. The story tells itself.

This week’s HRA score is a little kick up from last week’s, but still not at the level I’d like it to be. I just need a few more bonsais and other set items to get the complete bonus.

Joan’s prices were okay this week. They haven’t been this low yet, but I’m still hoping for a price below 50 one of these days. Again, I only purchased a moderate 500 turnips.


A present floated by and inside was a sword. It happens to be from the Japanese set I’m collecting, but unfortunately I already have one.

Pippy is thinking of leaving town, but I don’t want her to.

Another snowman came together with nothing but thanks for me. I can’t wait to see what he leaves me.


Blathers is ecstatic today. The T-rex model is finally complete! The fossil exhibit is fleshing out quite nicely. It won’t be long before everything is together.

Since my house is filling up, my Gyroids are all going to Brewster. He seems so happy to be taking care of them.

Pippy was so late at giving me a Christmas gift. Good thing it was something I wanted!

This snowman was so overcome with joy at his creation. I wonder if his tears would form icicles.

When people ask for such specific items, it’s hard to please them.
