Opal's gone
Opal has decided to leave the fair town of The Moon, for greener pastures. I wish her the best of luck.
HRA
My HRA score is as high as ever. I’m only a few items away from the 150,000 threshold.
Kitty
News of Jingle’s visit runs excitedly through the village. Kitty can’t wait for the fun-packed evening.
Gold rose
The Moon’s first golden rose is magnificent.
Fire bar
Fire bar
A fire bar floated into The Moon today. My Mario Theme is coming along rather nicely. I only have a handful of items to go now.
To the city
An excursion to the city seemed like a great idea.
Bid placed
I bid on a green pipe at the Auction House. I can’t wait to see how I fared.
Back to The Moon

Just peachy

White Katana
The white katana is filled with an ancient mystical power. It glows pink…and stuff.
Gyroids
This week is full of Gyroids. It snows almost every day, so I’m amassing quite an army.
Snowman
Aren’t you supposed to say “Happy Birthday?”
Seismo skull
I found the Seismo skull. I wonder when I’ll have this massive beast complete.
Snowman Fridge
The kind snowman left me with a Snowman Fridge! This will keep my stuff at a cool 39F.
New dress designs
A couple of new designs for the Tailor Shop: Royal Fungus and Smashing Peach.
Pascal floats
Pascal is floating on the bridge. I tried to track down a scallop for him, but wasn’t able to find one. It’s actually the first time I was disappointed to find a pearl oyster.
Opal's looking Peachy
That dress is just a little too tight on you, Opal.

Hybrid heaven

December 10th, 2008 by KingDarian | No Comments | Filed in Animal Crossing, Turnip Prices

Auction is lost
I learned that the auction I bid on was lost, someone else is taking home that shiny new stove.
PM Turnip prices
I found out that the stalk market has spiked a bit, from the usual standard. 267 Bells is a great price, and I’m selling.
Balloon gift
Another wonderful gift, another Super Mushroom.
Parasaur tail
Parasaur
The Parasaur is complete today.
Purple pansy
Black rose
Purple power
My first purple pansy and black rose sprouted today, along with another purple rose.
Benedict is blocking the way
I’m not sure what he’s protesting, but Benedict would not let me into the Town Hall.
Falling gifts
More wonderful gifts from the sky.
Sable Able
I think we’re officially friends now. Mable told me that Sable had been asking about me earlier that morning, which caused Sable to get a little embarrassed.
We're in the money~
The 1,200 turnips I bought on Sunday turned a pretty profit. Five minutes after selling the bunch, I found out that Felipe in Moonside had a price bordering on 500 Bells!
Coo
Pigeon Milk in my coffee
Brewster invited me to sit a spell, and added some Pigeon Milk to my usual coffee. The pigeon blend is a great cup of coffee.
Katrina's fortune
Another middle of the road fortune from Katrina. Nothing good, nothing bad.
Amazing Painting
I bought it all
Redd had some good items for sale this week, so I bought the lot. I have a spare Amazing Painting, and wouldn’t mind trading it for another painting.
Opal's weird party
I’ll be sure to never go to any of Opal’s parties.
Pippy recycles
More of Pippy’s junk.
Koi
Tuna
Snow brings out the best in fishing…some of the time. I was aiming for a coelacanth, so it ended up being the saddest moment I’ve ever caught a Tuna.
I'm a millionaire, baby
All in all, it was a very profitable evening. I’m a millionaire, baby!
Ugh...I don't think that dress suits you
I learned something about Grizzly I never knew before…

House Complete

November 30th, 2008 by KingDarian | No Comments | Filed in Animal Crossing

Complete house
My completely paid-off house is a stunning site. The flag sure looks spiffy.
HRA score
That HRA score isn’t too shabby either.
Gift
Tom Nook actually shows some generosity.
Tuna
Guppy
Today was a great day for fishing.
Guppy
My final mushroom item was a nice one.
Barbel Steed for a shirt
For a shirt, Grizzly traded me the barbel steed I gave him yesterday…
Brewster doesn't like coffee fads
Good coffee
I found Opal in the Roost enjoying some coffee. She told me that Brewster dislikes coffee fads. I had a delicious cup of joe.
King Dedede front
King Dedede back
King Dedede side
A Kirby Super Star inspired pattern: King Dedede. I might alter it to look more like the Super Smash Bros. texture.
Tuna!
More tuna!
Oshiokiyo!
Pippy’s new phrase is punishingly good…
Hide 'n Seek
Hide 'n Seek
Mega Harmonoid
I played my first game of hide and seek with Pippy, Gladys, and Benedict. It wasn’t too difficult to track them all down in time. I was in a rush because it had started to snow for the first time. I was on a mission to catch a coelocanth, but failed. This gyroid should cheer me up, though.
HOORAY!
There were plenty of other great catches.
I don't have that DVD
I…don’t have that DVD…
The Moon is Fantastic!
The moon is ever-closer to perfection~
Lil'Hero of Time front
Lil'Hero of Time side
Lil'Hero of Time back
My latest creation is called Lil’Hero of Time.

November was a great month. I accomplished a lot, such as paying off the full mortgage on my house and making my town a Fantastic place to live. There is still more to do. I’ve got to catch a lot more fish to make Bells to donate to the town fund. December will be the month of saving~

Gobble, gobble, HOORF

November 27th, 2008 by KingDarian | No Comments | Filed in Animal Crossing

Harvest day began on a sour note.
I've had enough!
Kitty was angry with me.
Kitty's angry
But, I had some mail!
Mush closet
I discovered another Mush Closet.
Remodeling
Tom Nook really was closed today. Tomorrow, I shall see a new store.~
Po po
Nana is excited for the feast, po po.
Nice stuff
The tables are set.
HOORF!
Heh heh heh HOORF!
Harvest Festival
The real fun didn’t start until after 3:00PM, but I was a little late.
Today we feast
Tortimer is ready to eat.
What do you think you're doing?
Franklin was invited as the guest of honor, but he has a hunch that his place at the table is actually a place on the table!
No way
He asked me to pilfer all the knives and forks at the table.
Hand it over
He doesn’t want to get hurt.
Goodies
All kinds of Harvest furniture was offered in exchange for the cutlery.
Yaaaaaah!
Franklin is easily frightened.
Not the best hiding place
He doesn’t seem to be that great at hiding.
NO! DON'T!
Yaaaaaah!
Chillax, mister turkey-man!
Harvest harvest
Harvest harvest
My Harvest Day harvest. I’m not interested in keeping these, so I’d be more than happy to sell these to you for 2500 each or trade for Mush furniture. Just shoot me a comment, or meet up with me in the #cityfolk channel on irc.dynastynet.net.
Gift from Nana to Opal
It seemed like everyone was giving gifts to each other. None were addressed to me, though.
Stego Tail
Ammonite
Stego Tail and Ammonite were today’s fossil finds.
No main dish
At 9:00 PM the festivities were over. Before the hour struck, I ventured to the city and got a new do to match my outfit. Can you guess who I’m trying to be?
Harvest Festival every day
Pudge wants Harvest Day to be every day.
Cuddle Party?
It’s not what it looks like…I swear!
Chasin' a grrl
I invited a few friends over, sold and traded some of my Harvest goods, and now I have a complete Mush set! Tomorrow is a new day and I’m wondering how much that basement is gonna cost me. With Tom Nook being open later, I’m hoping to amass a greater amount of money by fishing more at night. I will completely pay off this house by the month’s end~
